Published Travel Writing

In addition to writing My Next Big Adventure, I work with destinations and travel/outdoor brands to promote beautiful and interesting places to visit. I bring to this work not only skills as a writer and photographer but also two decades of experience as a marketing, communications, and social media professional in the public transportation industry.

While I am comfortable writing about almost any subject, I will not promote or endorse unethical services or activities, such as riding elephants in Thailand. (You can read how I feel about that subject here.) I do not fancy myself a food critic, so I generally avoid restaurant reviews, unless it is part of a larger city guide.
